Santa Clarita, CA (May 30, 2024) – A deputy with the Santa Clarity Valley Sheriff’s Office was injured in a crash that took place on Wednesday, May 29. The accident happened just after noon at the intersection of Bouquet Canyon Road and Newhall Ranch Road.
According to a report from the scene, the deputy was responding to a call with his lights and siren activated when he entered the intersection and was T-boned by another vehicle. The officer suffered unknown injuries and was transported from the scene to a local hospital for treatment. No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
